Saturday night football
As I write this, the Brewers are ahead 4-1 in the 9th (over the Fillies), and the Badgers are tied in a tough hardnosed game against OSU. But that's not important right now. What is important is that every Saturday night ABC has a football game, and the well-named Todd Blackledge is one of the commentators. And there's a halftime feature where he goes to some local color feeding hole to eat gazillion-calorie meals.

Well, the aforementioned Badgers game is on ABC tonight, and being played in Madison. And the local color feeding hole chosen for Blackledge is none other than Mickie's Dairy Bar.

I lived in Madison for several years. I loved Mickie's Dairy Bar. I lived virtually across the street from it for a year (remember the Cardiac Pack, with Don Majkowski at quarterback? That year). It was frickin' awesome. We went there every weekend.
If I tried to eat like that today, I'd be completely immobile for the next 24 hours.
Comments:
Wasn't that the place with the two-foot diameter pancakes?
