DNC chow
Mucho blog buzz lately about the Democratic National Convention's menu micromanagery. You've heard, right?

"A 28-page contract requested by Denver organizers that caterers provide food in "at least three of the following five colors: red, green, yellow, blue/purple and white." Garnishes could not be counted toward the colors. No fried foods would be allowed. Organic and locally grown foods were mandated, and each plate had to be 50 percent fruits and vegetables. As a result, caterers are shying away."

Unclear whether the '50% fruits and vegetables' refers to weight, calorie content, plate coverage, or (insert San Francisco joke here).

Here's my easy menu suggestion for those poor intimidated caterers. Half cauliflower (white, vegetable, perhaps organically grown, also sorta resembles trees), half assorted M&Ms (red-green-yellow-blue/purple, not fried, not a garnish, and production facility in nearby Nevada).

Mister Pterodactyl: here to help.
Comments:
M&M's are out of the question. If you turn them around they say, 'W&W.' BDS has struck again.

Steve: ssshhhhh!!!!
