Speaking of people leaving
[My last post being about Favre's retirement and all..]

Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons and Dragons and friend to all who never had a date on Saturday night, has missed his final saving throw. He's now on his way to the big Gen Con in the sky, where the beer is always cold and the fireballs always roll sixes.

I call dibs on his Sword of Wounding!

"... missed his final saving throw."

Not being a D&D player, I gots ta know... is that like throwing an interception on the final play of your career?

I played D&D back in college a few times. I didn't ever really have time for it. No idea how nerds can get engineering degrees while wasting time on that crap.

Yeah, Steve, it's a lot like that.
